For the seventh consecutive year, General Toshevo celebrated its holiday – November 8 – with the traditional Sarma and Meatball Festival. This year, the emphasis was on the preparation of 1,500 sarmas by Uti Bachvarov and his team, with the help of municipal councilors. The event brought together many residents and guests who enjoyed the delicious food and the rich festive program. The good mood was ensured by the performers from the Dobrudzha ensemble, and the culmination came with the concert of Lyubo Kirov. The young performer Dorotea Petkova also joined the celebration, and the finale was marked by a spectacular fireworks display and laser show. A special program with a theatrical performance and a creative workshop was organized for children, and the festive decoration contributed to an even more pleasant atmosphere. More than 3,000 visitors and guests participated in the events.

On August 30 and 31, the XXVI edition of the Dobrudzha Folklore Festival “Bogorodica”; was held, which brought together over 300 performers and more than 500 visitors and guests, lovers of Bulgarian folklore. The beginning was marked by a solemn blessing of water, followed by a greeting by Mayor Valentin Dimitrov. The program included 48 amateur groups and numerous individual performers from Northeastern Bulgaria, who presented the wealth of folk art. The festival was complemented by a festive bazaar with handmade items, and the participation of guests from Ukraine and Romania gave an international flavor to the event. After the end of the first day, the popular Bulgarian singer Tsvetelina gave a memorable concert on stage in front of the "Svetlina – 1941" National Theater.

On June 29, the twelfth edition of the Enyovo Festival "By the Dryan Dam" was held, with more than 350 performers and guests united by the love for Bulgarian folklore. The competition program included 66 performances by ensembles, vocal groups and individual participants from different settlements. In addition to the stage performances, the festival
also offered new opportunities for learning through an open lesson on "The Forgotten Dances of Dobrudja", led by a professional choreographer, as well as a master class in folk
singing with a vocal pedagogue. The festive day ended with a concert under the title "Enyovo Folklore Fairy Tale", with the participation of Ruska Dobreva and Stoyan Varnaliev,
as well as local ensembles.

Exhibitions, competitions, concerts, culinary show – meatball festival, ceremonial lighting. The folklore ensemble “Dobrudzha” and the group “The Foundation” participated in the concerts. Creative workshops were held for children. A ceremonial meeting was also held with representatives of neighboring municipalities, as well as guests from the city of Murfatlar.

On August 24 and 25, the XXV Dobrudzha Folklore Festival “Bogorodica” was held at the “White Swallow” square in General Toshevo. The two-day event was attended by 57 folklore groups, 6 duets and 45 individual performers from the districts of Varna, Silistra, Shumen, Ruse and Dobrich, as well as guests from Ukraine and Romania. The festival consolidated its position as the largest cultural event in the municipality, building a bridge between generations.

November 5-8, 2023 – Days of the city of General Toshevo. City holiday – November 8. Exhibitions, competitions, concerts, culinary show, festive dawn. A solemn meeting was also held with representatives of neighboring municipalities, as well as guests from the city of Murfatlar.

September 2-3, 2023 – Murfatlar City Days. “Festival of Wine and Vine”. During the two days of the celebration, visitors took part in gastronomic demonstrations. From modern to traditional music, the festival offered a diverse show that captivated and delighted the audience.

Thematic youth camp in Balchik – August 14-18, 2023. “Common Past and Shared Heritage” seminar, competitions, excursions. Participants: Young people from schools in General Toshevo and Murfatlar.

On June 23, by the Dryan Dam, the eleventh edition of the Enyovo Folklore Festival of Clans and Traditions was held. Hundreds of guests gathered to celebrate the living Dobrudja customs with songs, dances and ancestral memory. The festival brought together 25 amateur, 27 individual and 7 dance groups from the Dobrich and Varna regions, and special guests brought more color to the stage. Open lessons in folk singing and dancing were held. 

November 7-8, 2022 – Holidays of General Toshevo. Exhibitions, concerts, tourist attractions. Solemn meeting with guests from neighboring municipalities, including and Murfatlar municipality.

9-11 septembrie 2021-Business Forum “Cultural-Historical Heritage and Tourist Attractions in General Toshevo Municipality”. Total number of participants: 102 people. Guests and visitors – more than 100 people. Presentations, exhibitions, expedition tours, business meetings, seminars.
